Editorial Independence Policy

JVAS is published by the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. Editorial decisions shall nevertheless be based on the scientific and academic merits of submitted manuscripts.

The Editor and Editorial Board shall have responsibility for decisions concerning:

Editorial screening
Selection of reviewers
Acceptance
Revision
Rejection
Publication priority
Correction or retraction of published material

Editorial decisions shall not be influenced by:

Nationality
Ethnicity
Religion
Gender
Institutional affiliation
Political views
Personal relationships
Commercial interests
Advertising considerations
Other factors unrelated to the scientific merits of the manuscript

As a University journal, institutional administrative or governance matters shall remain separate from individual editorial decisions, while all editorial activities shall continue to comply with applicable University regulations.
